The Crawford County Genealogy Society meet Tuesday Jan 9.2018 at the Alma Library. There were fifteen people present including one visitor and speaker Marilyn Sneed fron the Kick Start Program,Arts and Culture Committee,Alma Area Chamber of Commerce. The current issue of Nuggets 2017 are available for 10 dollars. If you want one shipped the shipping fee is $2.50. If you want to become a member annual membership is twenty dollars for an individual and twenty one for a couple. Billy Gale Morse spoke on his trip to Ireland for 10 days. He visited Dublin,toured the Guiness Brewery, St. Patrick's Cathedral Titanic Museum and Peace Walk in Belfast,the Bogs on the west coast,Galway and talked about the friendliness of the Irish people

The Quilt show was very successful.
Today's speaker was Warren Blaylock. He has lived in Crawford County all his live except for College at University of Arkansas and the Military.
He taught school at Alma. He was born 1921 and is proud of the time God has given him. The next
Nuggets that will come out in the fall will have a DVD of his story in it.
